I’ve had some really good times in Atlanta since I arrived Sunday night. First I met new friends through Kenny Haas–I love how great people have great friends.
Just last night my uncle spoke the truth when he said, “You can really get to know someone by getting to know who they know.” For better or for worse.
Sunday
Dragon*Con was a ridiculous way to start out the visit to ATL. So was hanging out with Kenny, Bethany, Sylvia, Paul-1, and Brad.

Monday
The next morning we all went out to Mary Mac’s, a historic restaurant in Atlanta since 1945. I didn’t eat though–too greasy and heavy for me as breakfast. I asked the waitress if I could have a banana and a few slices of pineapple.
Her response was, “So I guess you’re good?”
Later that day I went to get some work done at Starbucks where I met Tim’m and Pam and I got to hear his new music video right after it went up on YouTube.
Then I met Kelsey, the attorney who I am building a new website for this week. Kelsey and I are both excited to get his new site up and running. I will share the link when we’re finished.
I had dinner Monday night with Kelly, the friend I am staying with, her brother Nick, his girlfriend Katherine, his best friend Seth, and Seth’s girlfriend Emily (who is also Kelly’s roommate). It was like being a part of an episode of Friends–dibs on Chandler.
Kelly and Nick live a few short minutes away from each other in Midtown, a part of ATL I had never spent much time at before. I had been looking forward to meeting Nick for several years–since I first met Kelly and she bragged about how smart and awesome her brother is. He lived up to his reputation for sure–turns out him and Seth visited Thailand a few years back and had been to some of the same places as Peter and I–like Koh Chang “Elephant Island.”
It was a pleasure meeting all of you.
Tuesday
I got started on Kelsey’s website–worked from about 8am to 6:30pm to get the tedious parts over. I spent the beginning of the day at Carrobou Coffee Shop and the latter half at the Lennox Square Mall Food Court–everybody’s got Wifi now!
Afterwards I met my Uncle Charlie for a walk around Chastain Park and dinner afterwards at the Empire Diner. We had so much fun, we plan to meet up again today–my uncle walks daily.
I hope all your weeks have been going as well as mine. Uncle Charlie and I were just on the phone making plans to walk again this evening and we were joking about my mobile lifestyle–today I’m starting back at the Lennox Square Mall because it’s got Wifi, Coffee, Food and is close proximity to where else I need to be today.
I asked a gentleman next to me (who coincidentally happened to be a professional photographer) to take a picture of my “Mobile Office of the Day”.
That’s what you’re missing ladies and gentleman–the mobile adventures of a man-Internet-genius. I’m sure glad I can still sit Indian style.
But before I let you go.. when did GLEE get their own line of clothes?
