Why am I typing Lady Gaga lyrics? The answer is.. I am listening to Greyson Chance. Yes, I think that kid is pretty awesome. No, I don’t necessarily think he should have his own record deal. As famous film director Justin Hantz says–Internet fads should stay on the Internet.

However, Ellen disagrees… “I was so inspired by 12-year-old Greyson Chance that we decided to make a record together. I am starting my own record label called eleveneleven!”

Since he posted his Paparazzi cover on Youtube a few short weeks ago, his video has been viewed over 25 million times–100 or so views from me. It’s hard to hate–Greyson did a sick cover of Lady Gaga’s song. It makes sense that Ellen immediately invited him to perform on her show and signed him a week later–because in a few more short weeks puberty will strike it’s heavy hand on Boy Chance and America might not like his voice as much.

How hilarious would it be if Ellen said “Now young Greyson Chance is about to perform his famous cover song..” and Greyson says, “Can I have just a minute?”

12 year olds and their hilarious unpredictable raging boners. I remember 7th grade–sometimes I knew the answer but didn’t raise my hand because I couldn’t walk to the chalkboard. He will have to learn the ‘tuck-under-your-belt’ trick.

The truth is Greyson Chance is an inspiration to us all. He inspired me to try and get on the Ellen show but unfortunately for me, YouTube videos only become viral if they are good. Although this might not be an example of a “good” video–if you know me, it might make you laugh. And if you don’t know me.. check out my About page.

It’s so magical. Wait–how did he get his own Wikipedia entry already??? This is big news. As Michael Scott says, “We’ve got to get YouTube down here to film this.”

Originally it was “Baby you’ll be famous chase you down until you love me” to capitalize on people searching Lady Gaga lyrics. But then it hit me how many more people are searching for naked photos of Lady Gaga. Let’s see how many visits this blog entry gets.
