 Apple OS X Lion, the new operating system, is available for download now. The upgrade costs $29.99. The new software mixes the traditional operating system with touch screen operation functionality plus Apple advertises over 250 new features… except for FLASH! Boy does Apple hate Flash. I don’t blame them, I do too.. but  Thank you Costa Del Mar for sponsoring me with a new pair of Jose’s 580P sunglasses! Jose’s are a new model Costa that are most similar to the style I’ve worn for years, only with a huge improvement.. 580P lenses! These are the most crystal clear sunglasses I’ve ever worn.  I have decided to cancel the service I have been using for e-mail subscription management. I subscribed to AWeber on a 30-day free trial and was very pleased with the features, back-end, and customer service of the company–just not the price. Overall I give the service an A+ but I cannot rationalize spending $19 a month on a mailing list with no-one on it. AdventurePaul.com is barely a few weeks old and it will be several months before I launch an e-mail subscription campaign.  My favorite places to eat lunch or dinner in Asheville are owned by the Barlos family. I go to Cornerstone Restaurant mostly because I live closest to it. I’ve ordered the same two meals from Cornerstone for 13 years. Some of the waitresses ask me when I arrive “Which one are you having today? The steak philly or the calabash chicken tenders?” |
